Valentine's Day Recipes Guest Post

I would like to introduce you to Stephanie from Plain Chicken. I'm so excited to have her here as a guest. I just love her recipes and she makes cooking look so easy! I encourage you to visit her blog and Facebook page.

I look forward to her meal planning guest post and if we're lucky "post" will be plural.

We all need a little inspiration in the kitchen from time to time don't we?

Hello South Shore Mommy readers!  My name is Stephanie, and I blog over at Plain Chicken.  South Shore Mommy invited me to do a guest post for her today.  Today I am sharing not one, but three "recipes" with you!  These treats are so easy, that you really don't even need a recipe.

First up we have these cute Valentine whoopie pies.  They are actually Oreo Cakesters cut into heart shapes with a cookie cutter and rolled in Valentine sprinkles.  So cute and so simple.

Next up are Double Dipped Milano cookies.  I used a bag of Pepperidge Farm Mint Milano cookies and dipped them half way into vanilla almond bark and then into some festive Valentine sprinkles.  Super easy!

Finally we have Biscoff Ritz Cookies.  Ritz crackers with Biscoff spread and dipped in almond bark.  This was my favorite treat.   These cookies call to me.  Sweet and salty goodness!

Biscoff Ritz Cookies
(Printable Recipe)

1 sleeve Ritz Crackers
1/2 cup Biscoff Spread
8 oz vanilla almond bark
Spread some Biscoff spread on half of the Ritz crackers. Top with remaining crackers to make a sandwich.
Melt the almond bark in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds until it’s melted and smooth. Dip each sandwich in the melted almond bark, turning to coat. Place on wax paper and add sprinkles if desired. Allow to cool for about 20-30 mins before serving.

I hope you all enjoy the treats!  I'll be back soon with some meal planning tips!
